Bob Berry has over twenty-five years of experience in user-centered design, user experience testing, and e-learning development. Bob also brings extensive experience in designing interactive professional development for executives and corporate clients and creating innovative online learning systems for small business and youth.
Bob’s focus and passion as an learning system developer, researcher, and consultant is helping real people in the real world to create real change for themselves through interactive systems, online learning, digital outreach, and new teaching technologies.
Bob has developed hundreds of hours of interactive courses, launched three educational ventures, and helped enrich the lives of tens of thousands of online users in all 50 states. In the early days of the web in the mid 90’s, he led the teams that built HP’s first e-commerce systems, offering the first industrial products ever sold online, and launched HP’s international engineering education programs with universities around the world.
In his usability and e-learning roles for Peak Seven Consulting, Bob brings over 25 years of experience in directly designing, executing, and applying research programs in corporate, small business, non-profit, and venture operations, using a variety of research methods, direct and indirect, primary and secondary, quantitative and qualitative, including in-lab and remote usability testing, user experience analytics, competitive analysis, surveys, direct customer visits, focus groups, remote interviews, business data mining, and market scanning.
Bob also leads intensive business simulations for Fortune 500 companies around the world. These multi-day simulations include c-level executives from top global companies, to teach them more effective decision making, strategy formulation, team dynamics, financial acumen, operational excellence, and venture funding.
Bob has led in-depth user research and development projects with global and regional clients such as Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Deluxe Corp., Usability Sciences Corporation, McKesson, University of Colorado, Wells Fargo, Vermont Country Store, Novartis, Metrolist, New England Business Systems, GoCanvas, M&T Bank, Wilmington Trust, First Data, Korn/Ferry International, Arrow, Canon, Aperian Global, Memorial Health System, and ConAgra Foods.
Bob has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
