Favorite Client Moment: Most memorable is guiding our very American client participants on their first foray into China – with the help of a couple of my closest colleagues. Think flying in cheese from France, American-type demands for food, etc.

 

With decades of experience that span education and business, Maryann Billington offers consulting, facilitation, executive coaching, and leadership development for leaders in scores of organizations around the globe. She is a thought leader who creates solutions for development, transformation, and improvement. Maryann also facilitates inspirational strategy and leadership events for corporate teams and boards of directors that promote change and innovation. She is eager to help leaders marshal initiatives from the idea stage to successful execution.

As CEO of Action Leadership Group and co-founder of Waves Partners, Maryann partners with Peak Seven Consulting to develop and deliver innovative solutions for clients. They tackle complex organizational initiatives from a leadership perspective and work to create the capacity of the client team to move forward. Their award-winning programs continue to be used widely by Fortune 500 client organizations. Maryann uses simulations, technology-enabled learning, and highly engaging activities to help teams navigate challenges and leaders develop new skills.

Maryann was previously a Senior Partner in Korn Ferry International’s Leadership and Talent Consulting Group and Chief Client Officer at Lore International Institute where she fueled growth with dynamic programs. Prior to joining Lore, Maryann was Vice President of the human capital practice at The Concours Group. She was also a practice director for Oracle Corporation’s performance consulting group that guided clients on elearning action and change for rapid adoption of technology and organizational transformation. She managed global training and developed market research and consumer markets for Corning Glass Works and was a former Dean of Graduate Business at Northeastern University. In Colorado Springs, Maryann was also Dean of Business and Executive Director of Workforce Development at Pikes Peak Community College. Her entrepreneurial spirit created business ventures to guide strategy transformation, Six Sigma, and quality adoption at corporations and health care institutions.

Maryann’s clients have included organizations of all types across industries and around the globe. Ms. Billington has a BA in Economics and Political Science from Boston College, International Studies at the School of Economics via AIFS, and an MBA from Northeastern University.
