Favorite Client Moment: Getting a call from an ecstatic client who had just learned her first professional (and extremely personal) essay—on which she and I spent several months outlining, writing, and refining—had been accepted for publication after a highly competitive anthology review process.
Jade Masterson is an Learning Design Guru and Copyeditor for Peak Seven Consulting with fifteen years of learning and graphic design experience. She has collaborated with clients around the globe to design and produce relevant, engaging, and creative learning materials. She excels at visual design, desktop publishing, copywriting, copyediting, project management, and conducting in-depth research.
Her dependable, dedicated, and professional work ethic make her a valued member on any team. Prior to her work with Peak Seven, Jade was a leader of the creative services team for the Leadership and Talent Consulting arm of Korn/Ferry International. During her tenure, she serviced numerous Fortune 500 clients in the development of dozens of customized educational programs in the areas of leadership, negotiation, influence skills, team building, and interpersonal effectiveness. In addition, Jade produced many of the core materials for a suite of executive leadership development programs. She was instrumental in the creation of an enterprise learning curriculum that continues to engage and teach clients worldwide to this day. She has facilitated Web-based and face-to-face group training sessions, written and led interactive and experience-based training, and conducted intensive project-based brainstorming sessions.
Ms. Masterson is also an accomplished copyeditor. Besides her main work in solutions development, she has collaborated with marketing and proposal response teams to provide materials used in the pursuit and win of multimillion-dollar business development opportunities. With a highly trained eye for detail, she ensures both quality and consistency, providing insightful feedback on key messaging.
Jade has extensive experience leading the design and development of leadership training curriculum, including presentations, facilitation guides, tactile program material, and facilitator scripting. In every client interaction, Jade links project work to larger organizational contexts, ensuring that the clients’ needs are met.
Ms. Masterson has a BFA in Communication Theory from the University of Missouri in St Louis, with a minor in Technical Writing and Editing.
