Bio: Lisa Travis is President and founder of Peak Seven Consulting. She has over twenty-five years’ experience in performance consulting, customized learning design and delivery, change management, user experience design, and marketing communications.
Lisa’s creative energy, insightful analysis, and a commitment to excellence have contributed to successful performance improvement solutions in diverse industries, including manufacturing, financial services, consumer products, higher education, health care, government, and telecommunications. As President of Peak Seven Consulting, Lisa focuses on providing clients with innovative approaches to learning and communication issues, working from strategy to hands-on development and design. She collaborates with senior level executives to create distinguished program brands, architect and design state-of-the-art, customized executive leadership development programs, create cutting-edge learning solutions leveraging iPads, and drive web business strategy. Notably, Lisa was the lead instructional designer on five CLO Media award-winning executive leadership programs.
Prior to Peak Seven Consulting, Lisa provided user experience design services as co-owner of Intuitive Websites. At Oracle University, she coached Oracle clients to navigate the changes associated with new technology and promote adoption among employees, suppliers, and customers. Lisa was also a manager of quality of life programs for 12,000 soldiers stationed in the Republic of Korea, Director of Workforce Development at Pikes Peak Community College, and worked in the press office for the Governor of Delaware. She taught communication at various universities and colleges, published several business and education articles in local newspapers, and presented at national and international conferences on workplace learning, performance consulting, and the organizational impact of technology.
Throughout her career, Lisa has focused on designing innovative solutions in individual and organizational performance. She has managed enterprise-wide change management projects, coached client project teams to work effectively together to achieve results, delivered on-site workshops and virtual eLearning programs, and facilitated usability testing sessions for effective web and app design. Her communication and marketing expertise includes designing strategic marketing campaigns, web sites, product and service collateral, newsletters, sales proposals, and presentations.
Lisa is a founder of three small businesses, including Peak Seven Consulting, Intuitive Websites, and Pack-n-Go Girls, a children’s travel adventure series. She has a BA in Political Science from Bates College and an MA in Communication from the University of Delaware. Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as skiing, hiking, and biking the beautiful peaks of Colorado.
