Are you ready to be a manager? This energy industry client wanted to provide the opportunity for its employees to test the waters – to think and “feel” what it’s like to be a manager and make managerial decisions that impact a team. But it needed to be quick, cost-effective, and self-paced. We collaborated with business unit leaders within the organization to design a interactive online learning program to help employees develop awareness regarding the critical transitions that must be made to be an effective manager. Once completed, employees could “raise their hand” and say “Im in!”
- Designed a custom, 90-minute eLearning program
- Storyboarded critical learning concepts and interactions
- Collaborated with subject matter experts to create content around five managerial priorities
- Created custom case-study with a virtual team, real business issues, and simulated managerial decisions
- Designed interactive “warm-up” activities
- Developed custom “puzzle-based” activity
- Developed in Articulate with various interactions, branching, and quizzes
- Incorporated “leaders as teachers” video clips
- Recorded and integrated voice-over audio
