2015 Chief Learning Office Learning in Practice Award Winner

When we were approached to provide pro-bono instructional design services on behalf of our veterans, we hopped on board. We collaborated with a team of experts to develop a leadership program designed to teach veterans how to leverage military experience for leadership in the civilian sector. The program recognizes the value of military leadership skills and helps veterans leverage and deploy their leadership capabilities to elevate their post-military careers to the next level.

• Collaborated on design of a 3-day leadership program to provide veterans with a set of tools to help them seamlessly transition from on career to the next
• Architected program elements around a 5P framework: Presence, Preparation, Purpose, Performance, and Potential
• Incorporated existing content and/or created custom content around topics such as differentiated interviewing, networking, service leadership, presence, vitality and endurance, and neuroscience
• Develop overall detailed program agenda and facilitation notes
• Wrote and designed 32-page action log
• Developed all program materials, including presentations and participant guides
